Hello! My name is Rama Kahool, and I am a psychologist and Certified Sleep Sense™ Consultant. My journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski,” followed by Master’s degrees in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, as well as numerous advanced trainings and certifications in psychology and human development.
However, my true passion for sleep began after becoming a mother myself. Like many parents, I experienced firsthand the exhaustion, frustration, and emotional challenges that come with a child who struggles to sleep. I was fortunate to work with a Sleep Sense consultant, and the transformation in my child’s sleep—and in our family’s life—was remarkable. For the first time in months, we were sleeping peacefully, and everything changed.
That experience sparked a deep passion for the science of sleep. I became fascinated by the profound impact that healthy sleep has on a child’s development, a parent’s well-being, and the overall happiness of a family. I simply couldn’t accept the common belief that parenthood must inevitably mean years of sleepless nights.
Inspired by my own journey, I enrolled in the certification program created by Dana Obleman, the world’s leading pediatric sleep expert and founder of the Sleep Sense™ method. I strongly believe that psychology and sleep science are closely connected, and that supporting both allows families to achieve lasting, positive change.
Today, I have the privilege of helping families establish healthy sleep habits and regain the rest they deserve. There is no greater reward than seeing exhausted parents become confident and energized again while helping their children develop the lifelong gift of healthy sleep.
